You have never known, never will, And how can I compare with hazy past? In spite I whisper desperate nothings still, To try and make the silver moment last. The mask has moulded to tight and seeps in, Pain’s grimace in a plastic smile, All you see as front is so from within, Hollow laughter makes it right for awhile. IS A LONG LIFE WITHOUT BOOZE WORTH LIVING? To the astonishment of nobody it's been found that Britain's heaviest drinkers work in the media, but even teachers are knocking back an average of 24 units a week; which is above the NHS's recommended limit, and booze-related deaths are on the rise. It's all very well for experts to warn us that if we drink too much, we'll die sooner, but let's say you give up drinking. Yes, you'll probably get a few extra years, but they won't be when you're 21:they'll be at the end of your life, after you become frailer, your friends die off and the government mumbles something about having borrowed your pension
